Founded in Accra

Stack Trace Solutions was founded in Accra, Ghana by builders who believed that world-class software has no geography. The name is deliberate: a stack trace is the tool developers reach for when something breaks — it cuts through the noise, finds the root, and tells you exactly what needs to be fixed. That precision is our operating philosophy.

We don't build fast and loose. We architect, then build. We trace problems to their root before writing a line of code. And we ship things that last.

Our first product, SafeRide Ghana, was born from a question that thousands of Ghanaian parents ask every morning: did my child safely board the bus? SafeRide answers that in real time — live GPS tracking, boarding notifications, and route management for schools. It's product one. There will be many more.

We're based in Accra, Ghana — and we work with clients globally. Most of our collaboration happens asynchronously over Notion, Linear, and Slack. Time zones have never been a blocker.
It depends on scope. A focused MVP takes 6–10 weeks from kickoff to launch. Larger systems take longer, but we always define a clear roadmap upfront so there are no surprises.
Yes — and it's where we do some of our best work. We understand the constraints of early-stage building: limited runway, high uncertainty, need to move fast. We'll help you build the right thing, not just the first thing.
Flutter for cross-platform mobile, Node.js with Prisma and PostgreSQL for backend APIs, React for web dashboards, and Firebase for real-time features. We use Docker for deployment and integrate GPS/IoT hardware when needed via Traccar and OpenStreetMap.
SafeRide uses a GPS tracker installed on the school bus that reports location every few seconds to our Traccar server. The Node.js backend processes coordinates in real time and pushes updates to the Flutter mobile app via Firebase Cloud Messaging. Parents see a live map; schools see a full operational dashboard.
Client projects are scoped and priced per engagement — we provide a fixed-fee quote after an initial discovery call. SafeRide Ghana operates on a subscription model for schools. Get in touch and we'll give you a straight answer based on your specific needs.
